Shakers are deceptively hard to place. Move one a few milliseconds forward or back and the whole groove can suddenly feel better, worse, lazier, tighter, or more expressive. And when you layer multiple shaker performances, tiny misalignments between their peaks create a subtle flammy blur – the kind you don’t notice until it’s fixed.
